Empowering colleagues to make an even bigger impact
The Match Fund is all about people – their stories, their passions and their local communities. Whether it’s a small charity supporting families on their street, a local sports club providing a safe place for children to play, or a national organisation funding life-changing research, our colleagues are at the heart of it.
Personal commitment from our colleagues is the driving force behind the success of the Match Fund programme. Sarah helped run a busy community gala, raising funds for a local football club’s new clubhouse – an event that brought together over a thousand players and families. Separately, Shirley organised a dedicated raffle in support of a music therapy charity that brings joy and confidence to children and adults with disabilities.
Daniel cycled 300 miles in memory of his nan to raise funds for dementia care, while Alise turned her team’s first-ever bake sale into a vital conversation starter about men’s mental health. Beyond these individual efforts, numerous groups of cardfactory colleagues have laced up for charity walks and runs, collectively raising thousands for causes from cancer research to mental health support. They all share the same spirit – people going above and beyond to help others.

How it works
The Match Fund is open to all cardfactory colleagues who are raising money for a registered charity. When their fundraising is complete, the Foundation matches the total raised, helping to boost their contribution and make every effort count even more.
