Empowering Employee Fundraising Efforts.
At cardfactory Foundation, we believe in supporting the incredible charitable efforts of our Card Factory PLC colleagues.
That’s why we are committed to matching colleague fundraising pound for pound, by donating an equivalent amount to a UK-registered charity, up to £2,500. This commitment ensures their time and effort creates double the financial impact for causes closest to their hearts.
Here are the key details of the Match Fund:
If you are raising money for charitable causes, please click the link below to access out the form to apply for funding.
Match funding is available exclusively to current Card Factory PLC colleagues who are fundraising for a registered charity. You must be employed by Card Factory PLC both when the fundraising activity took place and when the application is submitted.
The cardfactory Foundation will match fundraising efforts pound-for-pound, directly corresponding to the amount you raised. There is a minimum match amount of £50 and a maximum match cap of £2500, subject to evidence and verification.
Yes, the cardfactory Foundation will only match organisations that have a registered charity number; however, there are no restrictions on the types of organisations that can be supported.
We will pay the matched money directly into the charity’s bank account once you provide evidence that the amount raised has been received by them (e.g. via a direct confirmation or an online fundraising page). We will also write to you confirm this has been paid.
Matched funding applies only to activities involving active participation in fundraising, such as sponsored runs, bake sales, auctions, or raffles. Activities such as assisting with event setup, marshalling/stewarding, or providing administrative support are not eligible for matched funding. Funds raised through ticket sales or similar event income are also not eligible.
“Seeing my nan slowly deteriorate through dementia was incredibly hard. Dementia UK felt like the perfect charity to support because they make sure no one has to face that experience alone. I’m so grateful to the cardfactory Foundation for match funding my donation – it was a real honour and gave me such a boost during the final stretch of my 300-mile challenge. Knowing the Foundation was behind me made the whole experience even more meaningful.”
