The Trustees of the cardfactory Foundation are committed to ensuring that our funding reaches those who need it most. They provide strategic direction and ensure that our work continues to support people and communities facing life’s toughest moments, through responsible and effective giving.
With nearly 40 years of marketing experience, Brian has worked at board level for 25 years, leading teams at companies like Starbucks, Virgin, and cardfactory. As Chair, he led a strategic review to strengthen the Foundation’s impact and governance. Passionate about supporting young people and animal welfare, he has volunteered with charities like The Prince’s Trust and Dogs for Good.
Vicky is a strategy and transformation leader with experience across financial services, healthcare, retail, media and travel. She helps businesses define their future through strategic decision-making and the delivery of transformation initiatives. With a background in managing ESG and developing charitable relationships, she considers it a privilege to serve as an independent Trustee, contributing to increased positive impact within community organisations.
A marketing and brand expert, Georgia has worked across advertising, product development and retail marketing. She has played a key role in the Foundation’s brand review, helping to shape its new identity and increase awareness of its work. A creative at heart, she enjoys dressmaking, DIY renovations, and singing in her spare time.
Jo joined the Foundation after over three years at cardfactory, drawing on extensive previous HR experience from major firms including Experian and Equifax. She was inspired to become a Trustee to use her professional skills to contribute back to the community and has been deeply involved in resetting the Foundation’s vision and strategy over the last year. Outside of work, Jo is passionate about fitness, running and swimming daily and has fundraised extensively for cancer research, a cause close to her heart.
Stephanie joined the Board of Trustees to contribute her financial expertise and serve as an inspiration through her personal journey. A qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and currently the Group Reporting Manager at cardfactory, she plays a key role as a Trustee, assisting with year-end audits, advising on budgets, and reviewing investment strategies. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys participating in charity runs and has a keen interest in food and dining out.
A founding trustee, Susan has over 19 years of experience in retail, spanning HR, learning and development and regional management. She played a key role in distributing grants during the COVID-19 crisis and continues to drive the Foundation’s growth. Susan is passionate about community initiatives and spends her free time supporting local charities and food banks.
